Public Arts Committee

Overview

Created pursuant to Chapter 12.46.090 of the Municipal Code, the committee acts in the public interest in all matters relating to the public art ordinance including the selection, placement, and maintenance of works of public art throughout the city.  The committee provides public input in the administration and planning of public art. 

The Committee consists of five members, one member from the Whitewater Arts Alliance, one Common Council representative, one member of Downtown Whitewater and two citizen members. There shall be two alternate members.  Terms are for three years.

Meetings

MEETS: 1st Thursday of the month at 5pm. QUORUM: (3) Members.
