Lakes Advisory Committee
The City of Whitewater is forming a Lakes Advisory Committee to help with the Lakes Management of Trippe and Cravath Lake.

Landmarks Commission
Created pursuant to Chapter 17.08 of the Whitewater Municipal Code. The Commission develops criteria and standards for identifying and designating landmarks and landmark sites within the city limits. The Commission consists of seven members appointed by the City Council, for a three year term. One of the seven members shall be a Council Representative.

Library Board
Created pursuant to Chapter 2.56 of the Municipal Code and per Wisconsin Statutes Chapter 43.54. The Library Board oversees the management of Irvin L. Young Memorial Library. Membership consists of seven members appointed by the Common Council.

Parks & Recreation Board
Created pursuant to Chapter 2.52 of the Whitewater Municipal Code. The Board's responsibilities include assisting with the operation and maintenance of public parks, facilities and activities. The Board shall consist of seven members.

Plan & Architectural Review Commission
Created pursuant to Chapter 19.06 of the Municipal Code, the Commission is responsible for the review and approval of conditional use permits, assuring compliance of standards. The Commission consists of seven members and four alternates

Police & Fire Commission
Created pursuant to Chapter 2.28 of the Whitewater Municipal Code as well as Wisconsin State Statute 62.13. Membership consists of five citizen members.

Public Arts Committee
Created pursuant to Chapter 12.46.090 of the Municipal Code, the committee acts in the public interest in all matters relating to the public art ordinance including the selection, placement, and maintenance of works of public art throughout the city.

Public Works Committee
Created pursuant to Chapter 2.45 of the Municipal Code. The Committee oversees the city's public works department and the development of streets, sidewalks, lighting, building maintenance and other capital projects. The Committee is made up of three Council members.

Urban Forestry Commission
Created pursuant to Chapter 2.52 of the Municipal Code, the Commission is established as a permanent committee of the Park and Recreation Board. The Commission makes recommendations to the City Forester and Parks & Recreation Board concerning the care of city trees and shrubs. The Commission consists of five citizen members
