The City of Whitewater will begin work on the Universal Boulevard–Prospect Drive Water Main Replacement Project starting mid to late next week (week of August 10), weather permitting.
This project will include:
• Replacing deteriorated water main
• Installing underdrain
• Adding new base course
• Laying new asphalt pavement
📍 Construction Zone: From the intersection of Executive Drive & Prospect Drive to Universal Blvd & Industrial Drive.
🚦 Traffic Impacts:
• The Executive Drive/Prospect Drive intersection will be closed during construction
• The Universal Blvd/Industrial Drive intersection will remain open to traffic
The project is expected to be completed by the end of September 2026. Thank you for your patience as we work to improve Whitewater’s infrastructure!
