✅ Wear a helmet every ride.
✅ Obey all traffic signs and signals.
✅ Yield to pedestrians on sidewalks and shared-use paths.
✅ Use lights and reflective gear when riding at night.
✅ Stay alert and avoid distractions such as phones or headphones.

Tomorrow Johns Disposal Service will be performing their monthly bulk pickup which happens on the second pick up of every month. Help keep Whitewater clean and organized by following these guidelines!
✅ Accepted Items:
• Furniture
• Carpeting (cut into 4 ft. sections, rolled & bundled)
• Large, flattened cardboard boxes
• Appliances (including those with freon)
• Automotive batteries
• Tires (up to 2 per month / 8 per year)
• Drain oil (sealed & labeled “USED OIL”)
• Antifreeze (sealed & labeled “ANTIFREEZE”)
• Paint cans (empty/dry or dried with kitty litter/oil dry)
• Construction materials (in 32-gal. containers, ≤50 lbs, 4 ft. or shorter pieces)
• Larger items like hot tubs or pianos must be disassembled into pieces ≤50 lbs

Whitewater Fire & EMS has received $2,500 in grant funding from the WE Energies Foundation and Alliant Energy to help purchase a new remote gas detector. This equipment will allow firefighters to assess certain gas leaks from a greater distance, helping protect both responders and our community.
