Care Facility Voting

The City of Whitewater Special Voting Deputies will be visiting the Care Facilities in Whitewater with absentee ballots for the upcoming election. 
They will be at the following locations on these dates:

October 14th – 9:00am-10:30am – Fairhaven
October 14th – 11:00am-12:30pm – Blackhawk Manor
October 15th – 9:00am-11:00am – Brookdale Manor
October 16th – 11:00am-1:00pm – Blackhawk Manor
October 16th – 9:00am-11:00am – Mulberry Glen
October 17th – 9:00am-10:30am – Fairhaven

Regulations require that the Special Voting Deputies must visit each apartment of those people signed up to receive an absentee ballot, but who have not voted. If you cannot vote on the date/s the SVD’s will be at your location, your ballot will be mailed to you after the visit.

For those receiving a “permanent” absentee ballot, in order to stay on the “permanent” list, you must vote every election. If you miss an election, your name may be removed from the “permanent” list and you will have to reapply to vote absentee.


Los Diputados de Votación Especial de la Ciudad de Whitewater visitarán las Instalaciones de Atención en Whitewater con boletas de voto en ausencia para las próximas elecciones. Estarán en los siguientes lugares en estas fechas:
 
14 de octubre – 9:00am-10:30am – Fairhaven
14 de octubre – 11:00am-12:30pm – Blackhawk Manor
15 de octubre – 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. – Brookdale Manor
16 de octubre – 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. – Blackhawk Manor
16 de octubre – 9:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. – Mulberry Glen
17 de octubre – 9:00 a.m.-10:30 a.m. – Fairhaven
 

Las regulaciones requieren que los Diputados Especiales de Votación visiten cada apartamento de aquellas personas inscritas para recibir una boleta de voto en ausencia, pero que no han votado. Si no puede votar en la(s) fecha(s) en que los SVD estarán en su ubicación, su boleta se le enviará por correo después de la visita.

Para aquellos que reciben una boleta de voto ausente "permanente", para permanecer en la lista "permanente", deben votar en todas las elecciones. Si se pierde una elección, su nombre puede ser eliminado de la lista "permanente" y tendrá que volver a solicitar el voto en ausencia.
