City of Whitewater Embarking on an Updated Comprehensive Plan      

Whitewater, Wis. February 10, 2026 - The City of Whitewater is working with an Iowa based external consultant, RDG Planning and Design, to update its 2017 Comprehensive Plan. Whitewater Forward, the City’s next comprehensive plan, is the community’s long-term roadmap for growth, development, and quality of life. It sets a shared vision for the next 10–20 years and guides decisions on housing, transportation, parks, land use, and sustainability, ensuring the city grows in line with the community’s values and goals. 

Resident and stakeholder input is key to the success of Whitewater Forward. These public roundtables help the planning team understand priorities and shape recommendations for our community. The first of many listening sessions with multiple stakeholders are scheduled for February 10-11, 2026. Details for a Community Listening Session scheduled for February 10, 2026, are below.
