About Stacey Lunsford
Stacey Lunsford has served as director of the Irvin L. Young Memorial Library since 2001. As Library Director, Stacey is responsible for overall administration of the Irvin L. Young Memorial Library, budget planning, administration and supervision of employees, collection development, technology planning, as well as acting as a liaison with community groups including; UW-Whitewater and the Whitewater School District.
Education
Stacey received her Masters degree in Library and Information Science in 2000 from the University of Iowa. She has also received a Regular Grade 1 Public Librarian Certificate from the State of Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction. In addition, Stacey has a post-graduate certification in Public Library Administration from the American Library Association Allied Professional Association.
Work History
Prior to serving as Director of the Young Memorial Library, Stacey served as Director of the Humboldt Public Library in Humboldt, Iowa and Director of the Kinney Memorial Library in Hanlontown, Iowa.
