City of Whitewater Updates City Website

Whitewater, Wis. July 30, 2024 – The City of Whitewater is excited to announce the launch of its newly updated website, effective today. This update is part of our ongoing commitment to improve communication and accessibility for our residents, businesses, and visitors.

The updated website features a fresh new look, with a slightly redesigned home page that is more user-friendly and intuitive. Key enhancements include:

  • New Home Buttons: We've streamlined navigation with new home buttons, making it easier for users to find the information they need quickly.
  • Report a Concern: The previous "Submit a Request" feature has been revamped and is now "Report a Concern," allowing for more direct and efficient communication with the city administration regarding issues or concerns.
  • Dedicated Department Pages: The website now features dedicated pages for the following departments, providing direct access to important resources and information:
    • Police Department: Residents can find information on public safety, community programs, and department news.
    • Public Works: Access details on city infrastructure projects, waste management, and maintenance services.
    • Building Permits and Code Enforcement: Explore resources for community development, housing, and code enforcement.
    • City Clerk: Find information on public records, election services, and city council meetings

"We are thrilled to unveil our updated website, designed with our community's needs in mind," said John Weidl, City Manager of the City of Whitewater. "These improvements reflect our commitment to providing transparent, accessible, and efficient services to all residents and stakeholders."
