Collection Guidelines
Leaf and yard waste collection is scheduled for April 6, 2020 through April 10, 2020 and April 13, 2020 through April 17, 2020. Yard waste must be bagged in clear or transparent bags only. The City offers Bio-Bags in the fall only and are available in the Finance Department free of charge while supplies last.
Yard waste will not be collected if not properly bagged or placed in non transparent or black bags. Please place your bagged yard waste by the curb on the first Monday of collection. Brush will not be collected as part of the yard waste collection. Residents requesting brush collection may call 262-473-0560 anytime, or before 5 a.m. on Tuesdays to make an appointment for pick up.
Compost Site Drop Off
Residents may also drop off smaller amounts of leaves at the compost site during specified hours. At this time, the compost site is still currently closed for the winter. The compost site is located at:

Yard Waste Ordinance
Notice: It is against city ordinance to deposit any yard waste debris on city streets or right of ways other than City of Whitewater designated days.
