Created pursuant to Chapter 2.51 of the Municipal Code, the Pedestrian and Bicycle Advisory Committee provides guidance to the Parks and Recreation Board on bicycle and pedestrian related issues. The committee offers alternatives to driving while improving pedestrian connections and encourages both utilitarian and recreation bicycling.
The Committee consists of five members composed of three citizen members, one member appointed by the parks and recreation board and one member appointed by the public works committee. Citizen members serve two-year terms, board appointed members serve one-year terms.
