Alcohol Licensing Review Committee

Created pursuant to Chapter 5.20.025 of Whitewater Municipal Code to hold hearings concerning revocation, suspension or refusal to issue or renew alcohol licenses or permits, and considers requests for new alcohol permits.

Birge Fountain Committee
This committee consists of 7 members, including a Common Council representative, a Public Works representative, a Landmarks Commission representative, and 4 citizen members.

Board of Review

This committee reviews taxpayer appeals relating to property assessments.

Board of Zoning Appeals

This board consists of five members appointed by the City Manager/Common Council for three year terms with three alternate members.

Community Development Authority

This committee consists of 7 members, including 2 Common Council representatives, 1 Plan and Architectural Review Board Commission representative and 4 citizen members. Terms are four years.

Community Involvement & Cable TV Commission

The purpose of this commission is for advising the City on coordinated community outreach and engagement activities, develop maximum community involvement in use of media, and provide feedback in development of community involvement plans.

Disability Rights Commission
This Commission consists of five members, appointed by the Common Council to serve five year terms.

Ethics Committee

The Ethics Committee reviews ethics complaints and makes recommendations based on each one.

Finance Committee

This board consists of 3 Common Council Members.

Landmarks Commission

The Commission consists of 7 members appointed by the City Council, for a three year term. One of the seven members shall be a Council Representative.

Library Board

The Library Board oversees the management of Irvin L. Young Memorial Library.
