Seniors In the Park

NOTICE: 03/13/2020 - With concern for the safety of our older adult population, the Seniors in the Park programs, classes, activities, trips and services at the Starin Park Community Building and offsite venues, are cancelled for an indefinite period of time due to the coronavirus outbreak. Updated information will be posted on the City Website, Facebook and Instagram sites as well as the Whitewater Banner. 

Seniors in the Park is a lively and dynamic program in Whitewater that seeks to promote and enhance a vital aging community. Our mission is to enhance and revitalize the lives of our community by providing programs that challenge your mind, enhance your physical being, create new connections, and are just plain fun. From presentations and trips to card games and movies, there is something offered for everyone!

Seniors in the Park has been growing throughout the past few years, and many people within the community take advantage of the programs we provide. Seniors in the Park focuses on bringing fun into the community by creating an inviting atmosphere for the all.

Classes & Presentations

At Seniors in the Park we believe that your health and well-being are invaluable. Therefore, we provide fitness classes like Tai Chi, Zumba, Stretch and Flex, and Gliding. We also offer wellness presentations, blood pressure checks, relaxing massages or nutritious meals.


Volunteers are integral to our programming and allow us to offer our many. From setting up movies to helping at special events and fundraisers to planning trips, there are varieties of short, long term or one time opportunities to volunteer.
