Facility Improvements ​Ion filters have been installed in our HVAC system, high touch surfaces have been treated with a coating that kills germs on contact, and touchless faucets have been installed in our indoor bathrooms. Staff cleans tables before and after all classes. Our goal is to keep you and the staff healthy and safe. Thanks for wearing your mask!

Seniors in the Park is a lively and dynamic program in Whitewater that seeks to promote and enhance a vital aging community. Our mission is to enhance and revitalize the lives of our community by providing programs that challenge your mind, enhance your physical being, create new connections, and are just plain fun. From presentations and trips to card games and movies, there is something offered for everyone!

Seniors in the Park has been growing throughout the past few years, and many people within the community take advantage of the programs we provide. Seniors in the Park focuses on bringing fun into the community by creating an inviting atmosphere for the all.

Classes & Presentations

At Seniors in the Park we believe that your health and well-being are invaluable. Therefore, we provide fitness classes like adult tap/ballet, ’FUN’ctional Fitness, Core and More,Yoga, Let’s Walk, and Pickleball. We also offer wellness and educational presentations, technology tutoring and classes, art classes, travel experiences and volunteer opportunities.

Volunteers

Volunteers are integral to our programming and allow us to offer our many. From setting up movies to helping at special events and fundraisers to planning trips, there are varieties of short, long term or one time opportunities to volunteer.

Membership

The fee for residents of the Whitewater School District is $10 and non-residents is $15. The funds support about half of the cost of our front desk staff person for 15 hours per week. The rest comes our of our fundraising monies. If you cannot afford the fee, we have a fund that will cover it for you. Fees are accepted at the Starin Park Community Building or online at https://schedulesplus.com/wwtr/kiosk/
